Don’t miss this chance to study with Rolf Gates at Hot Asana Southern Pines from Sept. 25–27, 2026.
The investment is $65 per session, or $250 for the full weekend of four sessions.
Spend the weekend immersed in dynamic vinyasa, meditation, pranayama, and lecture/discussion as you explore the practices that help create a life that works. Together, we will look at the tools of yoga that support a deeper connection to truth and open the door to new ways of being in the world.
This experience blends the freedom of a powerful vinyasa class with the structural integrity of therapeutic alignment principles. The intensive is intentionally challenging, yet open to all who want to approach yoga as an evolutionary journey. The only requirement is to show up, do your best, and allow your best to be enough.
Although the sessions are designed as a full weekend workshop, each one may also be taken individually. Every session will be inspired by Rolf Gates’ Meditations on Intention and Being: Daily Reflections on the Path of Yoga, Mindfulness and Compassion.

Meaning: Vinyasa Session - Friday Sept 25th 6:30-9pm - This vinyasa workshop invites practitioners to move as an act of devotion, allowing intention and awareness to infuse each posture with purpose. Through breath, inquiry, and conscious sequencing, practice becomes a living expression of what matters most.
Effort - Vinyasa Session - Saturday Sept 26th 10am-12:30pm - This workshop explores effort as sacred engagement, where steady discipline meets humility and trust. Participants learn to offer their energy wholeheartedly while staying connected to inner guidance, discovering strength that arises from alignment rather than force.
Sweetness: Vinyasa Session - Saturday Sept 26th 2:30-5pm - In this asana-based session, we explore how to create the experience of sanctuary and the sacred within everyday life. As effort softens into grace, breath and movement merge into a felt sense of joy, tenderness, and reverence that continues beyond the mat.
Freedom: Mindfulness Workshop - Sunday Sept 27th 9:30am-12 noon - This mindfulness workshop explores freedom as an inner capacity cultivated through presence, compassion, and clear seeing. By gently releasing habitual patterns of grasping and resistance, participants can experience greater choice, ease, and spaciousness in daily life.
