This 8-day retreat offers an immersive exploration of the meditation-focused side of the Eleusinia program. Through Fire Kasina, a full day of silence, breathwork, and a Temascal experience in complete darkness, guests are invited to work with psychedelic-enhanced brain connectivity and access deeper states of practice during the retreat and long after it ends. It is an opportunity to discover what the mind can do when given the right conditions.
All rates are based on single occupancy. A second guest may be added to the room for a flat fee of $3,650, which includes all retreat activities and services. Airport transport is included.
Your journey begins with a 10-point preparation checklist. Education is a core part of the process, and the pre-retreat materials offer clear insights into the neuroscience and mechanisms behind these substances. In addition to learning, participants are coached in neuroscience-based skills, techniques, and exercises designed to help them navigate each session with greater clarity and purpose.
Within this retreat, psilocybin is used as a catalyst for insight and for developing lasting pathways into deep meditative states. These sessions are not about escape; they are about access. By increasing connectivity in the brain, psilocybin can help participants enter and maintain meditative states that might otherwise take years to cultivate through traditional practice.
Set in the open natural surroundings of the outdoor gardens, each session is created to support both depth and clarity. The environment encourages sensory openness and inward focus without distraction. Dosage levels are tailored to specific meditative techniques, guiding guests toward stillness, presence, and profound inner awareness.
The 8-day program includes two carefully monitored macrodose sessions. After the first, a detailed evaluation is conducted to assess emotional tone, depth of experience, and physical awareness so the second session can be refined in support of each participant’s meditative development. Paired with advanced practices such as Fire Kasina, breathwork, and extended silence, these experiences are designed to open the door to higher consciousness and help keep it open.
DMT is used as a powerful tool for entering deep states of awareness within a short window of time. Known for its intensity and ability to rapidly expand consciousness, it can broaden perception across visual, emotional, and somatic dimensions, creating a rare chance to experience stillness and insight beyond ordinary reach.
Unlike psilocybin, DMT does not create short-term tolerance, which makes it possible to access these brief but profound states more frequently. This is especially useful in an 8-day retreat, where it helps maintain momentum between macrodose sessions. It can also help restore sensitivity to psilocybin, supporting its effectiveness throughout the retreat.
Each session is one-on-one, with two facilitators present, and lasts approximately 10 to 15 minutes. The setting is intentionally quiet and free from distraction, allowing for full immersion. Though brief, the experience often leaves a lasting impression and can become a meaningful point of reference for future meditation practice.
Integration is the bridge between the psychedelic experience and lasting change. These states can be vivid, meaningful, and sometimes challenging, and without reflection they may fade into memory. Integration helps turn them into tools for growth.
In this retreat, integration takes place in a group setting where participants share insights, techniques, and perspectives. This collaborative format fosters community and allows each person to learn not only from their own journey but also from the experiences of others.
The focus is not only on processing the psychedelic sessions, but on weaving their insights into a shared practice of deeper awareness. Together, guests explore psychological, spiritual, and somatic dimensions of the work, strengthening resilience and reinforcing the skills needed to remain connected to non-ordinary states.
Functional magnetic resonance imaging studies show notable similarities between brain activity during meditation and during psychedelic states. In this sense, psychedelics can offer a glimpse of what advanced meditation feels like, opening a door to states that can later be developed through disciplined practice.
At this retreat, meditation and breathwork are practiced before, after, and during select psychedelic sessions. This structure allows participants to explore how psychedelics can deepen meditation while also learning how to sustain those states without them.
By paying attention to the sensations that arise from breathwork and meditation after a psychedelic journey, guests learn to use these techniques to remain connected to expanded consciousness. The result is not only a longer-lasting benefit from the sessions, but also a stronger foundation for ongoing practice.
Fire Kasina is a concentration-based meditation practice that uses the afterimage of a flame to stabilize attention and develop vivid inner imagery. With sustained practice, it can lead to jhana states, deep levels of absorption marked by stillness, clarity, and presence.
In this retreat, Fire Kasina is woven into the schedule both before and after psychedelic sessions. Beforehand, it helps prepare the mind with steadiness and focus. Afterwards, it offers a way to explore how the psychedelic state influences perception, imagery, and meditative depth.
One evening, guests sit down to an eight-course dinner with one element removed: sight. What remains is a direct encounter with taste, aroma, texture, and attention.
This is not performance or entertainment. It is practice. When visual input is removed, the other senses often come forward with striking clarity, and the mind’s predictions begin to loosen. Flavor becomes more dimensional, texture more vivid, and expectation more visible.
Later in the retreat, one full day is devoted entirely to silence. With no need to interact or perform socially, participants are given space for inward focus and uninterrupted attention. Silence can reveal old habits, beliefs, and unresolved feelings, offering a rare chance to meet the self with honesty and without distraction.
An optional add-on class is available for $275, offering instruction in how to extract DMT from legal, easy-to-source plant materials. The course includes hands-on practice and purification techniques.
A fully integrated medical team is available on-site 24 hours a day throughout the retreat, ensuring comfort and security. Retreats are limited to approximately 10 participants, with a maximum of 14, creating an intimate and individually supported environment.
Guests receive 6 months of free access to an exclusive online community of past retreat participants. This space makes it possible to share stories, experiences, and post-retreat progress while staying connected with fellow guests and the Eleusinia team.
Group discussions focus on post-retreat wellness practices, including dosing protocols, success stories, challenges, and improvements, offering continued support long after departure.
Day 1: Arrival & Orientation. Guests arrive in the afternoon via shuttle from Mexico City. The day includes a welcome snack of tamales and champurrado, personalized intake meetings with the medical team, a neuroscience-based presentation on psychedelics and meditation, and a welcome session with the curandera.
Day 2: Meditative Preparation. The day starts with a silent forest hike after breakfast. Around midday, participants take part in a traditional Temascal sweat lodge experience. In the evening, the first Fire Kasina and breathwork session introduces candle gazing and the foundations of jhana practice.
Day 3: First Psilocybin Macrodose. The day begins with orientation, breathwork, and meditation before the first macrodose session. The outdoor experience lasts about six hours in private garden spaces.
Day 4: DMT, Silent Session, Forest Hike. Each guest follows a personalized morning schedule with a private DMT session and an en suite massage. After the DMT session, silence begins and continues until the following day. The afternoon includes small group contemplative forest hikes, followed by Fire Kasina meditation in the evening.
Day 5: Second DMT Practice and Dining in the Dark. The morning begins with a group integration session. In the afternoon, guests take part in individual DMT sessions in the garden, with time for multiple sessions at their own pace. The day ends with a blindfolded dinner that heightens the senses through the absence of sight.
Day 6: Second Psilocybin Macrodose. This session mirrors the structure of the first macrodose day, with the opportunity to adjust dose and intentions based on the first experience. The session takes place in private garden settings with attentive support, followed by nourishing food and time to rest.
Day 7: DMT Extraction Class, TRE, and Psilocybin Minidose. The day begins with an optional DMT extraction class. Midday is reserved for journaling and relaxation. In the afternoon, participants attend a TRE class followed by a psilocybin minidose session. The evening closes with a cacao ceremony.
Day 8: Departure. A final breakfast is served at 8:00 AM, followed by a 9:30 AM shuttle departure back to Mexico City.
