Just as Sri Sukta forms the foundation of Maha Sri Yaga, Prajapati Sukta is the essential basis of Prajapati Yaga. Where Maha Sri Yaga helps us reclaim our inner wealth, Prajapati Yaga restores and nourishes the vital forces that sustain life itself. In that sense, Prajapati Yaga is a natural continuation of Maha Sri Yaga and of other practices rooted in Sri Sukta.
In this in-depth study intensive, we will examine the inner workings of Prajapati Yaga: its core principles, the gradual steps that prepare us for the practice, and the correct use of the ten mantras of Prajapati Sukta. The course also includes a detailed exploration of the broader group of mantras that surround the shakti of Prajapati Sukta and how they are applied skillfully within Prajapati Yaga.
Prajapati Yaga unfolds on several levels, each associated with a particular sage. For practitioners established in Sri Sukta, Sage Kardama presides over Prajapati Yaga as its anchoring force. Kardama is invoked in mantra 11 of Sri Sukta.
This study reveals the fourfold secret meaning hidden within mantra 11—an interpretation the tradition has long considered inaccessible to those outside the Sri Sukta lineage.
The purpose of Prajapati Yaga is to renew our living connection with the spirit of humanity—our Creator and Her intention in placing us at the center of creation. Through this practice, we develop a subtle sensitivity to nature’s forces, allowing us to serve the natural world wisely while also receiving its support.
Prajapati Yaga deepens the present by opening the door to the most benevolent achievements of human history, preserved through the wisdom of the past. Illuminated by Sri Sukta, it helps us rediscover the wonder of who we are, and the wonder that moves us to share, serve, and care for one another. It awakens the twin flames of wisdom and compassion, so that we continue to receive love, protection, and nourishment from higher sources.
At the heart of Prajapati Yaga is a set of ten mantras known collectively as Prajapati Sukta—a gift from the sages as precious and transformative as Sri Sukta itself. In this course, we will study Prajapati Sukta along with the supporting mantras that guide its shakti to its proper place within Prajapati Yaga.
In a world shaped by fear and uncertainty, awakening calmness and stability is our dharma. This study intensive supports that dharma by helping us become a positive force in the world.
