At Amayama, this unique 5-day retreat brings together two powerful Sacred Plant Medicine traditions: Ayahuasca from the Amazon and Peyote (Hikuri) from the Mexican desert.

The Peyote ceremony offers a very rare and authentic ceremony on European soil, led by Marakame Don Juan Ortiz, First Singer of the Wirrarika Nation. The Wirrarika are one of the most closed indigenous communities in the world.

This is an exceptional opportunity to receive their sacred medicine. The two Ayahuasca ceremonies are guided by Axis and Chiara, healers and founders of Amayama.

• 🌿 Two Ayahuasca Ceremonies : Held in the Temple with live music and sacred chanting, in a warm, intimate, and safe atmosphere (with a maximum of seven participants). Ayahuasca cleans and opens the heart, offers profound spiritual insights, restores balance and prepares the ground for the Peyote journey.

• 🦌 One Exceptional Peyote Ceremony : A full night around the Sacred Fire, guided by Marakame Don Juan Ortiz and Devi Chandra Ma. Through traditional chanting in Wixárika, the Marakame narrates the path of the Blue Deer (Hikuri), the grandfather spirit of Peyote, guiding humanity back home.

• 🌵 Ancestral Tribe & Tradition : The Wirrarika (Huichol) are one of the most closed indigenous communities in the world. They have preserved their ceremonies unchanged for centuries. Only a Marakame, granted this sacred duty by the Highest Spirits, can share the medicine of Hikuri (Peyote) outside the tribe.

• 🦌 Marakame Don Juan Ortiz : Marakame, First Singer and leader of the Wirrarika Nation, guardians of the Peyote medicine (Blue Deer). He guides the ceremony with prayers and chanting throughout the night in the traditional Wixárika language.

• 🌙 Devi Chandra Ma : Mexican medicine woman with 25+ years on the Sacred Path, founder of Prana Foundation. Trained by Shipibo and Wirrarika masters, she also follows the Vedic Path. Her voice carries the ancient wisdom of icaros, sacred healing songs passed down through generations.

• 🔥 Full-Night Ceremony by the Sacred Fire : The Marakame sings to the cosmos, narrating the steps the Blue Deer (Spirit of Peyote) left behind so humanity can find the way back home. The fire is tended and kept alive until sunrise with chantings and prayers.

• 🎶 Shamanic Ceremonial Style : Live music and sacred chanting: Icaros and songs learned from South American and African shamans (direct apprenticeship from various traditions) and creative inspiration from Dietas with master plants. Blended with curated playlists, this brings the jungle spirit to Europe, creating a deeply transformative ceremonial container.
