Step away for a restorative weekend designed to help you unwind, reset, and return to daily life feeling refreshed. This 3-day retreat offers a thoughtful blend of therapeutic bodywork, biofeedback, private yoga, and integrative medical guidance, all created to support renewed wellness and a more balanced lifestyle.

Guided by Carrie Demers, MD, the program brings together conventional, homeopathic, and ayurvedic perspectives in a personalized approach to health. The intention is simple: to help you better understand your needs, ease stress, and support your healing with practical recommendations and natural tools.

Pause & Renew Retreat Includes:

  • A 60-minute integrative consultation with Carrie Demers, MD, offering a medical and lifestyle review tailored to your health goals. This session combines allopathic, homeopathic, and ayurvedic approaches, with recommendations for balanced living, natural medicines, and supplements that may support healing.
  • Daily 60-minute bodywork treatment with skilled massage therapists to release muscular tension, encourage the flow of healing energy, and ease stress in both body and mind.
  • A 60-minute Building Resilience assessment using modern computerized biofeedback techniques to evaluate breathing and resilience in response to stress and challenge.
  • A 60-minute private yoga session with senior yoga teachers, using postures, breathing, relaxation, and meditation to bring greater ease and freedom to body and mind. Each session is adapted to individual needs.

The retreat begins with orientation on Friday evening and concludes at lunch on Sunday.

Beyond your daily treatment schedule, you will also have access to:

  • Morning yoga classes
  • 3 vegetarian meals daily

Surrounded by the serene beauty of the Pocono Mountains, the cottage offers a tranquil escape where you can connect with nature. The open-concept living space combines the living area, kitchen, and dining space, providing ample room for relaxation and practice. This cottage includes a work desk with wifi and a single person sofa pullout. The bedroom is a cheerful sanctuary with a full size bed and walk in closet. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. The bathroom includes a shower & tub.

Our chalet-style accommodation features a spacious shared living room area that serves as the central hub for our 4 Private Two-Bedroom Suites. Each suite has a private bath, living room/sitting area, and a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator (no cooking facilities provided). Additionally, each suite boasts a private bedroom with a full-size bed on the first floor, a pullout couch in the living room, and a roomy loft with a queen-sized bed on the second floor. Our Guest House Suite can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 small children, making it an ideal choice for families or groups of friends.
