Rooted in ancient yogic philosophy and time-honored techniques, the Nature and Nurture retreat offers a meaningful starting point on the path of self-healing.
Ishwarya Chaitanya began her yoga path with her father, Sri Prameya Chaitanya, in the Hatha yoga tradition at the Sivananda ashram in Rishikesh.
Originally from Vancouver, BC, she later went to India to deepen her devotion to Bharatanatyam and yoga, studying with respected gurus. She completed her yoga teacher training and post-graduate diploma in yoga therapy at S-VYASA University in Bengaluru, with a focus on yoga for a range of psychosomatic disorders.
She also completed Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series teacher training at Tattva Yogashala in Rishikesh and studied with the renowned Iyengar teacher Sri H.S. Arun for more than ten years.
