Created specifically for men, this retreat offers a grounded space to step back from daily pressure, reset your system, and build practical skills for a calmer, clearer life.
It’s for men who are ready to do the work on themselves — away from noise, performance, and expectation. You don’t need any prior experience. What matters is a willingness to show up, learn simple tools, and connect with a strong group of like-minded men.
Expect real practices that support mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing — no fluff, just useful methods you can take home and use straight away.
Please note – our retreat program is flexible, so you can join in as much or as little as you feel up to.
Men today carry a lot: work demands, family responsibilities, and a constant mental load. Yet most of us were never taught how to work with our inner world — how to manage stress, regulate the nervous system, or understand what’s really happening in our own minds.
This retreat is designed to change that. Through practical, accessible techniques, you’ll learn tools that can support you in everyday life.

With years of life, fatherhood, relationship and yoga teaching experience between them, Ross Adams and Dan Stephenson will guide the weekend with care, steadiness, and genuine support.
Ross is passionate about sharing the ancient teachings of yoga and mindfulness, practices that have deeply shaped his own life. He loves seeing others experience their nourishing, healing, and transformative effects, and he is especially committed to supporting mental wellbeing.
He qualified as a yoga teacher in 2013 and joined the Byron Yoga Centre team in 2016, where he continues to facilitate retreat groups.
Ross has completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy with Dr N. Chandrasekaran, along with trainings in meditation, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Trauma Aware Yoga, Zen Thai Shiatsu massage, and Reiki.
Dan teaches an alignment-based flow and works with the energy in the room, blending breath, meditation, and philosophy to help students move beyond physical practice into a more complete yogic lifestyle.
He completed his first Level 1 training in India in 2017, later undertook Level 2 with Byron Yoga Centre, and completed an Acro Yoga teacher training in 2018. He enjoys helping people build confidence with new skills and concepts.
Dan’s studies include Reiki, Tai Chi at a Chinese Shaolin temple, Buddhism and meditation in a Buddhist monastery, and travel across India to explore different forms of yoga.
The yoga style is Purna, a traditional hatha approach with a focus on alignment and intelligent sequencing. Purna means complete or whole, and the practice reflects that by integrating physical postures with breath awareness (pranayama), meditation, and philosophy.
Students can work at their own level, with variations and modifications offered so beginners and experienced practitioners can practice side by side.
At Byron Yoga Centre, the rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable, created to support rest and a good night’s sleep. Choose twin-share accommodation with shared bathrooms, or upgrade to a private ensuite room with a verandah, subject to availability and pricing.
Much of the produce is grown in the on-site organic gardens. Meals are vegetarian, balanced, and designed to keep your energy steady throughout the weekend. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are used wherever possible, with a focus on wholesome food that supports your body as you reset.
As a guest, you’ll have full access to 15 acres of land, including organic gardens, the heated 20-metre mineral salt pool, and a balé surrounded by banana trees. You can also take a bike into town or head to the beach.
You can now add a sauna experience to your retreat for a reduced rate.
