Many people feel a deep desire to reconnect with the natural world and experience a greater sense of wholeness. This retreat creates space to awaken through the senses—by listening, seeing, feeling, and breathing within nature’s living presence. Through nature-based meditation and embodiment practices, participants are invited into a more intimate relationship with themselves and the more-than-human world.
This is a restorative immersion designed to help you slow down, listen deeply, and remember your true nature. Practicing outdoors can soften the heart, bring ease, and open us to the quiet wonders all around us: the shifting colors of wildflowers, clouds moving across the peaks, and the subtle dialogue between wind and wings. In the spirit of the Buddha’s encouragement to practice in nature, trees, birds, and mountains become teachers.
The retreat will be held in silence and includes sitting and walking meditation outdoors, mindful hiking, and occasional indoor sessions. Daily mindfulness-based movement practices such as chi gung and embodiment will also be offered. Participants should feel comfortable spending most of the day outside and hiking 1–3 miles each day.
