All teacher trainers are highly trained, experienced, and deeply committed to supporting both your professional growth and personal journey.
Reflecting the holistic approach of Purna Yoga, the teacher training courses at Byron Yoga Centre are thorough and wide-ranging. They cover many key aspects of yoga, including detailed analysis of postures, breathwork, meditation, philosophy, and ethics.
The centre is committed to excellence in yoga education, supported by a strong team of resident and guest senior teachers with expertise in Anatomy and Physiology, Yoga Philosophy, Women’s Health, Ayurveda, and Kirtan (chanting).
The best way to learn how to teach is to teach. That is why these courses place a strong emphasis on practical experience, so you leave not only with a deeper understanding of yoga, but also with the confidence and skills to begin teaching.
Students are given the chance to teach public classes early in the course, working with real students rather than only practising with fellow trainees. By the end of the training, participants will have been involved in at least 12 hours of open public classes.
A major focus throughout is safe teaching, so you can step into your role with clarity and care.
Many trainees discover that yoga teacher training becomes a transformational experience in ways they never expected.
