Family Weekend is back for another unforgettable year, taking place July 18-20, 2025. This special retreat brings together the personal growth workshops and welcoming accommodations guests love with the classic camp activities many remember from childhood. New this year, families may also choose an optional breakout session designed for those navigating unique journeys and seasons of life. The purpose of the weekend is simple: to create space for relaxation, growth, connection, and fun for the whole family.
Here’s a preview of what’s in store:
During the weekend, families can also take part in a selection of optional workshops created for parents and the whole family:
Workshop 1: “Building a Vision for your Family”
This foundational workshop invites families to come together, strengthen unity, and shape a shared vision. You’ll explore how to function as one team while nurturing the bonds that make your family unique, along with practical ways to create a common direction for the future.
Workshop 2: “Emotional Wellness for All Ages”
Focused on the well-being of every family member, this session offers tools to support emotional health both individually and together. Learn strategies that help create a secure, supportive, and resilient environment where each person can thrive in any season of life.
Workshop 3: “The Art of Family Communication”
Healthy communication is essential to strong family relationships. Through interactive exercises and guided discussion, this workshop helps families of all ages practice active listening, navigate conflict, and build greater understanding for more open and productive conversations.
Workshop 4: “Personal Development for All”
This workshop encourages self-discovery and growth for both parents and children. Designed to support lifelong learning, it offers insights and tools that help every family member reach their potential and continue growing with purpose.
A Special Breakout Session: Celebrating Unique Family Journeys
Families come in many forms, each with a meaningful story. This supportive session is for families formed through adoption, fostering, blending households, or those moving through seasons that include special needs, medical challenges, or launching a child to college. Together, participants will share experiences, honor the diversity of family life, and explore both the joys and challenges of walking a unique path. The session offers connection, understanding, and practical insight for families who may not fit a traditional mold but are rich in love and strength.
Family Weekend is all about shared experiences, meaningful connection, and lasting memories. Space is limited to 15 families, so early planning is encouraged.
*Please note: Early check-in is not available. Housing will be assigned according to family size.
