Ayerim is a name received during a profound spiritual journey, marking the beginning of a transformative path as a respected practitioner of plant medicine. Her initiation into the world of sacred plants began in January 2019 at Centro Ceremonial Metamorphosis in Aguascalientes, Mexico. That experience opened the door to healing and self-discovery, changing her life in a powerful and beautiful way. Since then, Ayerim has continued to deepen her knowledge and skill, becoming a trusted guide and healer within the spiritual community.
She has had the privilege of learning from renowned teachers such as Miski Takiy and Alonso del Rio, and studied the principles of the Four Altars path in depth. These experiences strengthened her connection to sacred plants including Mother Ayahuasca, Grandfather Peyote, and San Pedro Huachuma. Each plant, with its own spirit and wisdom, has guided her further along a path of healing and awakening.
In 2021, Ayerim began leading ceremonies at Inner Journeys in Houston, Mexico, and in various cities across the United States, bringing this medicine to those who needed it. Her dedication to this path led her to become a member of the Native American Mother Church ONAC in 2022, further grounding her commitment to spiritual and healing traditions rooted in Indigenous practice.
In 2024, Ayerim reached an important milestone when she traveled into the heart of the Amazon jungle in Pucallpa, Peru. There, she trained under the guidance of the Escudero teachers of Amazonian Heart Medicine, who have spent more than 25 years studying sacred plants while learning from the Shipibo tribes. Through rigorous training and deep immersion, Ayerim became an officially recognized practitioner of Ayahuasca, Kambo, Yopo, tobacco, and other sacred jungle master plants.
Ayerim’s work is deeply rooted in the ancestral traditions of Amazonian plant medicine, where Ayahuasca has been used for centuries as a tool for healing and spiritual connection. Prepared from the Ayahuasca vine and chacruna leaves, this sacred brew is known for its powerful therapeutic qualities and transformative visionary experiences. Her ceremonies offer a journey into the depths of the psyche, supporting profound healing on the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
