Join us in Bali for a transformative journey of self-discovery and growth, designed for dedicated practitioners and teachers who are ready to move beyond physical practice into the subtle, energetic, and therapeutic dimensions of yoga.
This 300-hour training is devoted to refining and deepening the essence of the level 1 foundation. You will explore the chakras, be introduced to traditional tantra through mantra and yantra practice, and work with advanced pranayama and a consistent daily meditation practice. The curriculum also includes somatic therapy, hands-on bodywork, trauma-informed approaches, and techniques that support nervous system regulation.
Your daily two-hour practice is rooted in Hatha and Creative Flow. By graduation, you will be well prepared to design your own sequences. You will also experience Yin, Vinyasa, Restorative, Kundalini, and Tantra Yoga.
Each day includes 30 minutes of core pranayama techniques. In the second level, the practice becomes more advanced, with breath holds, bandhas, and an understanding of ratios.
Silence becomes a powerful tool for inner inquiry and self-knowledge. Meditations are drawn from traditions such as Buddhism, Tantra, Advaita Vedanta, and Kashmir Shaivism. You will gather daily for 30-minute sessions, and in the third week there is a three-day retreat dedicated entirely to cultivating meditative states.
You will study energy locks used to guide and control prana, the life force within the body. Through traditional tantric practices, you will experience the power of bandhas and their role in awakening Kundalini.
This core module is led by an expert physiotherapist and yogi. In level 2, the focus expands to treatment and prevention of common yogic injuries. You will also learn bodywork, fascial release, and somatic techniques designed to help free trapped emotions in the body.
Asanas are broken down one by one with attention to alignment, adjustments, and corrections. You will refine sequencing for the subtle body, work with advanced postures, and learn how to guide energetic flow in class.
Authenticity lies at the heart of being a Samasti graduate and teacher. By the end of the training, you will know how to create class themes inspired by ancient texts, traditions, and therapeutic outcomes, bringing deeper meaning to your life and the lives of your students. You will also have two full one-hour opportunities to teach your peers and receive feedback from the teacher.
Together, you will explore the wisdom of the ancient yogis through the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, the history of yoga and its paths, Ayurveda and diet, yogic purification techniques, subtle anatomy, Tantra, Indian cosmology, Yoga Nidra, Sanskrit, yantras, and mantras.
