Led by Robin Flynn, this immersive retreat invites you into a guided creative ceremony where painting becomes a path of healing, transformation, and remembrance. Rooted in the understanding that art joined with prayer can bridge heaven and earth, this experience offers a powerful way to bring soul desires into form and turn old fear patterns into new pathways of trust.
Through the Medicine Mandala Process, you will be supported step by step as you create your own sacred mandala as a vehicle for transformation. This is not simply an art experience, but a ceremonial journey designed to help you access wisdom, truth, creativity, and your deeper sense of wholeness.
Within a heart-centered circle, you will be invited to meet creative blocks with support, soften the inner critic, and explore the healing power of intentional art. As you paint, whatever arises—judgment, doubt, or old wounds—can be witnessed with kindness and transformed through the process.

You do not need to be an artist or have painting experience. You simply need a willingness to explore, to show up, and to complete the process. Completion is where the magic happens, and you will be fully guided with all materials provided so you can relax into the experience.
Throughout the retreat, you will be held in a caring and authentic space of support, where experienced art guides walk beside you as fellow travelers. The intention is to help you reconnect with your inner artist, open to your inner healer, and allow creativity to move freely again.
Across all Visionary Hearts events, participants are welcomed into a ceremonial field devoted to embodied healing, relational truth, and spiritual maturity. You can expect earth-honoring ceremony, heart-centered practice, guided shamanic journeywork, sacred council, restorative movement, breathwork, time for rest and reflection, and ongoing integration support through monthly community circles.

This retreat will take place at Star River Sanctuary near Nelson, BC. Set atop Crystal Mountain and surrounded by wild forest, springs, gardens, and protected land, the sanctuary offers a beautiful eco-retreat setting with domes for gatherings, cabin and glamping lodging, camping options, indoor and outdoor dining areas, composting toilets, a bath house, hot showers, and nourishing meals prepared with garden-grown produce.
Membership in the Private Member Association is included and completed during registration.
