The Retreat
Set in the peaceful surroundings of southern Spain, this yoga and meditation retreat and certified course invites you into a week of depth, silence, and renewal. Expect long, meditative Hatha Yoga classes, seated meditation in silence, thoughtful lectures, and a warm, supportive atmosphere, along with time to rest and reconnect in nature.
Across seven days, you will explore Hridaya yoga, meditation, philosophy, and a close relationship with the natural world, creating a holistic experience of authentic yoga. This is an invitation to meet yourself more deeply, look inward with honesty, and reflect on life’s essential questions. By the end of the week, you may feel refreshed, transformed, open-hearted, centered, and more available to grace in daily life.
What Is Hridaya Meditation?
Hridaya Meditation points toward the essential core of your being: a place beyond personality, limitation, suffering, and time. It is the resting place of the Spiritual Heart, the Self, which is never truly separate from you, even if it is obscured by ego identification and its stories. This practice is a process of deconditioning that helps guide you back home to that inner Heart.
What Is Hridaya Yoga?
Hridaya Yoga approaches Hatha Yoga as a contemplative practice. Postures are performed slowly and gently, with longer holds that allow the body to open more fully and the benefits to unfold more deeply. The physical practice is integrated with Advaita, the non-dual vision, so yoga becomes more than stretching—it becomes a lived inquiry.
Within each asana, you are invited to observe the body, its bio-energies, and the thoughts, emotions, sensations, and actions that arise, while remaining non-reactive. In this way, practice becomes a path toward direct contact with the essence of your being: the Spiritual Heart.
Certification
After completing the retreat, you will receive a 40-hour continued yoga education certificate registered with Yoga Alliance. If you are already a yoga teacher, it can be added to your curriculum. You may also join without being a yoga teacher and still receive the certificate. Please note that it is not a Yoga Teacher certificate in itself.

Yogini / Meditator / Co-founder of Ananda Forest + Director Amaratva Yoga / Certified by Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500HR
Paulina’s path into yoga began around 2003 as a physical practice, but everything changed after her first 10-day silent retreat in 2011. Since then, yoga has become central to her life. She has taught and participated in many silent meditation retreats, yoga modules, teacher training courses, and workshops across Mexico and Europe.
She lived, studied, and taught with Hridaya Yoga in Mexico for one year and in France for two years. Her teaching is grounded in a deep appreciation for the clarity and light that meditation and yoga can bring, and she is inspired by witnessing the peace and transformation this path offers people from all walks of life.
The Cuisine
All meals are included and prepared with care. You will be served healthy, delicious, nutritious, and well-balanced vegan meals, with an option for eggs possibly available. Ingredients are locally sourced and, where possible, organic and home-grown, resulting in nourishing raw, vegan, and vegetarian dishes.
The chef will also share how to meet your cravings in a wholesome way without falling into unhealthy habits. Guests with specific food allergies can be accommodated, and gluten- and dairy-free meals are often prepared as well. This retreat is also seen as a gentle way to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit. Please share any special dietary needs so they can be taken care of.
