A Traditional Vedic Ceremony of Renewal
Honouring the Teachings of Baba Hari Dass
Join us at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga for our monthly Full Moon Yajña, a sacred fire ceremony inspired by the teachings of Baba Hari Dass. Babaji’s emphasis on consistent practice, selfless service, and inner purification is expressed through this enduring ritual.
A Yajña brings together mantra, breathwork (prāṇāyāma), meditation, and ritual offerings in one devotional practice. During the ceremony, 108 offerings are placed into the fire while the group chants 108 repetitions of mantra together. Each offering represents the release of what keeps us tied to ego, tension, and suffering, making space for clarity and renewed intention.
Held beneath the light of the full moon, this ceremony offers:
A grounding experience of community and devotion
A chance to release old patterns and welcome inner spaciousness
A direct connection to the spiritual practices upheld by Babaji and the Centre’s lineage
Whether this is your first time joining a fire ceremony or you are already familiar with the tradition, you are warmly invited to take part. Come sit with us, chant with us, and share in the quiet power of renewal, reflection, and collective practice.
All are welcome.
No prior experience is necessary.
You can also join us online via Zoom here.
