Kristen Krupp, the founder of SoCo Aerial Collective in Sonoma County, California, has spent more than a decade studying aerial arts and is always looking for new ways to expand her knowledge. In 2017, she created SoCo Aerial Collective to share her passion with students and visiting teachers while cultivating a safe, supportive environment.
With a background in microbiology, Kristen brings an analytical perspective to the aerial world, exploring creative and distinctive approaches while respecting each body’s individuality. She is also a certified personal trainer, committed to developing full-body strength for a practice that is consistent and sustainable both on the ground and in the air.
TK Paauwe-Roberts is a dedicated instructor with nearly ten years of experience teaching aerial silks, Pilates, fitness, calisthenics, nutrition, and children’s sports programs.
She is passionate about guiding students toward a healthier lifestyle through technical precision, mindful practice, and movement that feels enjoyable and sustainable for the body.
For TK, aerial silks are a creative puzzle. She loves breaking down complex wraps and sequences through aerial theory so that students can develop both technical skill and artistry. She currently teaches private lessons and group classes at Oasi Sorgente in Italy.
TK and Kristen first met in California while TK was visiting her parents and searching for a place to train. After taking a lesson with Kristen, they quickly became friends and discovered how much they share in common, from their love of silks to their playful sense of humor. They are excited to join forces on this retreat and continue exploring their shared passion for aerial theory.
