Join us for a summer camp experience where family connection, playful adventure, and Dharma come together in a meaningful way. This year’s theme centers on The Four Immeasurables — loving-kindness, compassion, empathetic joy, and equanimity — with these qualities woven into the programming for every age group. Activities are designed for all generations, with experiences for children, teens, parents, and the whole family. It’s a chance to step away from the pace of daily life, reconnect with one another, spend time in nature, and return home feeling refreshed and energized.
Bring your family together for a week of connection, learning, and shared exploration. The program includes:
Teens will take part in a classic camp-style adventure that includes teen-only time in nature and an optional overnight solo experience. This is a supported journey, not simply time alone. With several days of preparation from their guides, followed by integration activities, teens are thoughtfully supported as they explore inner resilience and their relationship to the world around them. Most of their time will be spent with their guides at Tara Mandala and on the land, with the experience beginning in a heartfelt send-off and ending in a celebratory reunion with their families.
This camp is open to participants ages 4 and up. Parents may also bring children ages 0–3, who must remain with a parent or caregiver at all times.
Financial assistance options are available, and scholarship applications may be submitted for consideration.
Each family member must complete a separate registration. Please contact the Registrar with any questions or for assistance.
Tara Mandala aims to make its programs as accessible as possible, recognizing that each person’s financial circumstances are different. During registration, participants may choose to pay in full or select the Installment Payment Plan. Those choosing the installment option will pay a 25% deposit at registration, and the remaining balance will be automatically divided into equal monthly payments. The final payment is due 14 days before the program begins. If registration happens close to the start date, additional arrangements can be made. For questions or special requests, the Finance Team is available to help.
Dana, meaning “generosity,” is the traditional offering made to a teacher as an expression of gratitude, appreciation, and reciprocity for receiving the teachings. Guidance on offering dana will be shared during the program. The suggested dana for this program is $140–$420 per person.
This schedule offers an overview of the retreat flow. Activities and timing may be adjusted before or during the retreat. All times are Mountain Time.
