Fall Directed Retreat I 2026
Description
Set in the quiet atmosphere of St. Raphaela Center, this directed retreat offers space to slow down and become more attentive to God’s voice within your heart and throughout daily life. Silence is observed throughout the Retreat Center at all times, including during meals. Each retreatant meets daily with a director for about 45 minutes, receiving compassionate and peaceful guidance that supports deeper listening and a closer journey with God both during the retreat and beyond it.
The amount, style, and length of formal prayer each day are shaped by the individual’s needs and abilities in conversation with the director. Suggested scripture passages are provided to support personal prayer. Ideally, participants will have some experience in meditative prayer, a desire for extended silence, and enough self-awareness to notice their inner movements. Daily liturgy and reconciliation are available to all retreatants.
