




EMDR Therapy training is designed for master’s-level mental health professionals who are licensed, certified, or registered by their state for independent practice and who have a caseload to work with during the course. It is also open to professionals on a licensure track, provided they have a letter of support from their supervisor.

EMDR is an evidence-based approach and the designated treatment choice for Post Traumatic Stress by the American Psychiatric Association, the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Research also shows that 90% of therapy clients have experienced some form of trauma in their lives. EMDR integrates well with other therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, IFS, somatic approaches, and play therapy.

This is a hands-on clinical skills training focused on using EMDR and integrating it into your psychotherapy practice. The program exceeds EMDRIA’s criteria for EMDR basic training and includes:

In-person & Virtual
Can’t attend in person? You can complete the full training online. Join virtually for all dates, or come for the four in-person days at a 400-acre wooded retreat campus in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, where wellness, self-care, and learning come together. Build your skills in this powerful healing modality while enjoying community with peers, access to hiking and nature, yoga, and additional spa and wellness services.
The in-person option at the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA is available on July 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st.
