✨ Ecstatic Dance with DJ Kai Rune!
Kai Rune is a Colorado-born and -based electronic ceremonial music artist, vocalist, and producer known for blending worlds of subterranean deep dirty bass, rhythmic textures, cinematic and blissful atmospheric sounds and ethereal vocals that feel like a guided journey through soundscapes of the ancient future. Enhanced by her connection to the lineages of the Dragon, her music merges the magic, technology and intelligence of sound with the wisdom and remembrance of the body for us to reconnect to our inner aliveness and truest forms.
Kai Rune’s greater mission is to curate ceremonial shows in sacred sites where somatic movement paired with music and intention activates the spaceship of the body, and opens and fortifies the gridlines of Earth and our global interconnectedness.
Opening Movement Workshop with Paladin Williams
We’ll open the evening with a gentle movement workshop, starting with inward attention and curiosity, and slowly expanding the focus into relating with others in groups and partners.
We will be exploring how to create connection with self and others through the music, the rhythm, patterns, mirroring, and playing with the spaces between our dancing bodies, the shared field of creative movement, with or without introducing physical contact.
Closing Sound Bath
The evening will conclude with a short Sound Bath from professional sound healer Annmarie Fore. Annmarie brings wisdom, presence, and peace with an enchanting array of instruments and tools. A perfect way to integrate an evening of movement and magic.
