Attachment & Trauma Mastery Training

DARe Live Level 1

Fundamentals of Attachment Styles

This introductory training in the Dynamic Attachment Repatterning experience (DARe) series explores the core attachment styles and the roots of early attachment wounds. You’ll gain a clear framework for understanding how secure functioning develops, where it can be disrupted, and how healing becomes possible.

Whether you join in person or online, the training blends somatic, relational, and experiential learning to help you understand how early attachment patterns continue to influence adult relationships. The course is designed to strengthen resilience, restore secure attachment, and support the healing of developmental wounds.

By working with attachment patterns at their source, you’ll build skills that can help foster greater joy, meaning, intimacy, and connection in both personal and professional settings.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to identify Secure, Avoidant, Ambivalent, and Disorganized attachment adaptations
  • Somatic and experiential approaches that support regulation and secure connection
  • How over-coupling dynamics in early family-of-origin patterns can affect adult behavior and relationships
  • How to create and facilitate corrective experiences for early attachment wounds
  • Tools for developing presence, attunement, and relational safety in your work
  • A framework for integrating embodiment and neurobiological awareness in clinical practice

Live DARe trainings offer a rare opportunity to experience this work in person, guided by experienced facilitator Dr. Liz George. Set in the peaceful surroundings of Sunrise Ranch, Colorado, the gathering provides an ideal environment for reflection, restorative practice, and community connection. Attendance is limited.

For virtual participants, the live online format includes full access to training sessions, demonstrations, and Q&A through an interactive platform. You’ll also have the option to learn more about DARe Online Workshops or the DARe Certificate Program.

This training is co-taught by Kristin Burns.
