Weekday Hermitage Retreats

Step away from the noise and into a setting shaped by quiet, prayer, and rest.

Enjoy time in the Forest in one of three hermitage-style cabins: Brigid, Subiaco, or Guadalupe. Each cabin includes two rooms and is set up for a simple, comfortable stay. Cabin amenities include:

• Two twin beds, with pillows and linens provided
• Desk and chair
• Couch or futon, which may also serve as a third bed, plus an additional chair
• Refrigerator
• Hot plate
• Toaster oven
• Microwave
• Coffee pot
• Tea kettle
• Pots, skillets, and cooking utensils
• Plates, cups, and bowls
• Dishwashing supplies
• Sink, with a kitchen sink in Subiaco and bathroom sinks in Brigid and Guadalupe
• Private bathroom with towels, washcloths, and a bath mat provided
• Sink
• Toilet
• Shower

Amenities may differ slightly from cabin to cabin.

For added comfort and convenience, guests have access to:

• Heating and air conditioning
• WiFi throughout the grounds
• Good reception with most major cell phone carriers
• 24-hour staff on site
• Parking in the middle of the property, with carts available to help transport belongings to your cabin

Weekday stays, Monday through Friday, require a two-night minimum.

Meals are not catered during the week. These cabins are equipped for preparing your own simple meals, and with advance notice to staff, you may also use the Main House kitchen. Guests should bring their own food. Coffee, tea, sweeteners, creamer, salt, and pepper are provided. If you need anything last minute, grocery stores in Sand Springs are only a 15-minute drive away.

The meditation chapel is open 24 hours a day, and communal interfaith meditation times may be offered depending on staff availability. Participation is encouraged but not required. The Forest is a quiet retreat environment, and guests are asked to help preserve its contemplative atmosphere.

Spiritual direction with the executive director or another qualified spiritual director is available upon request for an additional fee. A session with the reiki practitioner may also be arranged for a fee.

Weekday overnight guests may check in after 1:30 p.m. If you expect to arrive after 5:30 p.m., please let us know in advance so someone can be available to welcome you. Check-out on the final day is at noon.

Rates are $100 per night for one person, and $85 per night for each additional occupant.

Clergy Discount: Clergy who provide a letter from their congregation or faith community may receive one complimentary night with a two-night minimum stay. This offer is valid for weekday stays and may be used once per stay.

Forest Policies:

• No drugs or alcohol permitted on site
• No weapons permitted on site
• No overnight guests under 18 years old
• No pets; service animals are welcome
