On Labor Day, yoga teachers and studios across Austin open their doors to the public and offer free yoga classes. This is a service and a small expression of gratitude for the ongoing support of the wider Austin yoga community. It also helps raise awareness of the rich range of excellent instruction available in Austin, while welcoming new students to yoga.
Started by Charles in 1998 with support from the Southwest Yoga Conference, Sharon Moon, and Donna Belk, this event has grown over the years and is now offered in many cities throughout Texas and across the USA, including Dallas, Houston, and Los Angeles.
