This immersive training offers a deep journey into yoga, meditation, and self-inquiry, helping you develop a living understanding of traditional tools and methods. You will build the essential foundations for teaching yoga while exploring āsana, prāṇāyāma, Yoga Nidra, meditative arts, philosophy, and mantra chanting. The program also opens the door to the essence of Kashmiri non-dual Tantra, a perspective that unites discipline and joy and invites you to connect with your own instinctive wisdom. In addition, you will study core Tibetan Buddhist principles such as impermanence, compassion, and the cultivation of Bodhicitta, enriching your spiritual path.
In this Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training, you will learn how to design and guide sessions using the school’s own methodology. This pedagogy has been refined through years of research, practice, and study trips across diverse yogic traditions around the world. The teaching integrates approaches such as Iyengar Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Krama, traditional Tantra, and Tibetan Buddhism.
The curriculum is organized into eight main areas of study and practice: Yoga Philosophy, Asana, Pranayama, physical and energetic anatomy, Ayurveda principles, teaching methodology, traditional Tantra, and meditative arts, including mantra chanting, tandava, sound vibration, and various meditations. You will also go deeper into key Tibetan Buddhist themes such as forgiveness and unconditional love.
At Matrika Yoga School, we believe you cannot teach what you have not experienced. For that reason, the training combines experiential, theoretical, and practical approaches, allowing you to integrate knowledge through your own direct experience and share it authentically. Yoga is not only a set of methods, but a path of integration that transforms your relationship with the body, energy, mind, and life.
We understand this training as a path of inner maturation, not only technical learning. To dedicate yourself to teaching, it is recommended that you have already begun your self-inquiry through practice and Ayurveda, supported by a solid foundation of self-care. We recommend having taken part in our Holistic Health Program “Vuelve a tu Centro” to cultivate healthy habits and establish a conscious relationship with your energy.
To apply, you must meet at least one of the following routes:
