Among its most iconic landmarks is the Panagia Hozoviotissa Monastery, a centuries-old monastery built into the cliffside with breathtaking views. October is an excellent time to visit Amorgos. The climate remains mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures around 20–25°C (68–77°F) and cooler evenings of 15–18°C (59–64°F). The sea is still warm enough for swimming, while the island is quieter than in peak summer. Occasional rain or wind may occur, but the season is generally ideal for hiking, exploring, and relaxation.
