Held at our centrally located Port Moody yoga studio, nearby local parks, or Moody Centre for Adventure Camps, these programs also take place in nearby Coquitlam and serve families in the Tri-Cities and School District 43. The studio is a short walk from the ocean and Rocky Point Park.
Children in these camps gain practical tools they can carry into daily life through movement and mindfulness.
Guided by a Social Worker/Yoga Instructor and a Certified Kids Yoga Instructor, the PD Day Camp curriculum invites children to build confidence, explore movement, and strengthen social awareness through yoga, mindfulness, nature, and discussion-based activities.
These camps typically follow the SD 43 calendar and Moody Elementary School schedule.

The Port Moody summer day camps offer several choices, each rooted in Social Emotional Learning. The Resilient Kids Adventure Camp is the most popular option, helping children grow in confidence and independence as they plan their own day trips around the Lower Mainland. This camp is not held in the studio and is based at Moody Centre SkyTrain Station. Past adventures have included Belcarra Park, Lonsdale Quay, Stanley Park, Lynn Canyon, Mundy Park, Fort Langley, Blodel Conservatory, Maplewood Farm, and many more child-led outings.
*Registration for the Resilient Kids Camp may be covered by extended health benefits where counselling by a Registered Social Worker is a benefit*
The Resilient Kids Movement and Mindfulness Camp is inspired by the idea that “play is the work of children” (Fred Rogers). Through play, children engage in movement and mindfulness activities with an intentional curriculum that includes yoga, meditation, journaling, art, nature, and social connection.
All programs are grounded in body autonomy, body awareness, social and emotional learning, inclusivity, accessibility, and lila (divine play). Children are never forced to take part in anything that does not feel right in their bodies, and they are supported in learning how to safely say “no.” These principles help build resilience.
There is a strict anti-bullying policy, and children of all abilities are welcome. No prior experience is needed, and every child is invited to come as they are.
All camps run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with free late pickup available until 4 pm unless otherwise noted in the registration link.
Please pack an allergen-free lunch, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, yoga mat, and weather-appropriate clothing, as outdoor time is part of the experience.
All other supplies are included.
