Physical preparation is essential to experience the highest state of consciousness and activate our human capacity. Bufo alvarius (Incilius alvarius) is an amphibian native to the Sonoran Desert in Mexico, and to areas of Arizona and Sinaloa. Its glands contain bufotenine and 5-MeO-DMT, powerful psychedelic substances, but not DMT like ayahuasca. It is a nocturnal toad that hibernates from September to April.
