Pranama’s foundational RYT200 teacher training begins a new cycle in November 2026. This year’s teaching team brings together experienced, long-standing teachers and notable guest stars who will open up the diverse world of yoga from their own perspectives. The training is designed to be both deep and comprehensive, offering a broad overview of different yoga traditions and the art of teaching.
The training period runs from November 2026 to August 2027. The program takes place as monthly 3–4 day weekend trainings. During the course, participants are also expected to complete around 30 self-directed yoga classes, along with homework, teaching practice, and the required reading. All of this is woven into a holistic learning experience.
Each module also features a top-level guest teacher who shares expertise in a particular field, such as Kundalini, Flow, Yin, or other practices. The training covers a wide range of methods: flow, hatha, vinyasa, yin, pranayama, mantra, meditation, mudras, rituals, aerial yoga, Katonah yoga, and restorative yoga. Participants will also explore creative sequencing, managing different levels of practice, and the business and ethics of teaching.
Teaching calls for sensitivity in noticing the body’s needs and the ability to create a safe environment. Professional skill builds compassion and the courage to remain authentically oneself. This training supports a deeper understanding of different body types, hands-on assisting techniques, and the role of props when working with special needs. The aim is to develop the capacity to be an effective teacher while also daring to be fully yourself.
In your application, we would like to hear your name, date of birth, how yoga found you, what it means in your life, and why you wish to join the teacher training. This helps us get to know you better.
