The November bridge retreat, titled “Agni, the Altar of Fire”, offers a deep immersion into Iyengar Yoga, Ritual Dance, Meditative Arts, and Traditional Tantra in the heart of nature.
Artistic direction is led by Pablo Ferrero and Martha Tena.
This retreat is dedicated to Agni, the transformative fire. Through yoga, dance, and non-dual Traditional Tantra, participants are invited to explore the inner altar that lives within each of us.
Set in the vast landscape of Gredos, the stillness of the sacred space, and the support of a group gathered with a shared purpose, the practice becomes a gateway to self-knowledge beyond the ordinary.
Using yoga, meditative arts, rituals, and nature-based activities, the retreat works with fear—especially the fear we hold toward ourselves and our highest potential.
The program is guided by ancestral yoga techniques viewed through a contemporary lens. Practices include Iyengar and Vinyasa Krama Yoga, pranayama for cultivating conscious breathing, and moments of deep meditation.
What happens when we allow ourselves to simply be? What changes when we observe ourselves without masks? What arises when we follow the heart’s impulse and accept the consequences of what must unfold? Immersive practices in nature will take participants into forests and caves, opening space for reflection and discovery.
The philosophical foundations of Traditional Tantra, Kashmiri Shaivism, and Shakta teachings guide the journey, offering a vision of the world and practical tools in service of the soul’s deepest freedom.
Iyengar Yoga will serve as a method for activating the seeds of the different rasas, the many emotions and states of mind.
Organic movement and ritual dance, Yoga Danza Veda, are woven together with the wisdom of mythological stories, symbolic maps, philosophy, and teachings from Traditional Tantra as they apply to everyday life.
This retreat is open to practitioners who wish to go deeper into their nature, to know themselves, and to explore self-inquiry with curiosity and joy. The practices are organic and accessible, adapting to what the body needs in each moment. All physical conditions are welcome.
If you have no previous experience with these practices, or if there is anything important about your body that should be considered, please let us know. A conversation before arrival is required to ensure your well-being.
No prior knowledge of yoga or the practices included is necessary. Everything will be explained from the beginning.
