Join us in Bali for a transformative journey of self-discovery and growth. This program is designed to deepen your practice, reconnect you with purpose, and strengthen your teaching skills.
A Journey Back to Yourself
We believe authenticity and depth of experience are essential foundations of yoga. This training is designed as a path toward self-love, inviting you to gently uncover layers of conditioning and false beliefs. Through yogic philosophy and practice, breathwork, and meditation, alongside modern approaches such as somatic healing, trauma-awareness, and nervous system regulation, you’ll explore what it truly means to live yoga.
Asana Practice
Each morning begins with two hours of practice rooted in traditional Hatha and a creative flow that evolves with you. You will also experience Yin, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Tantra yoga — not to collect styles, but to discover how your body wants to practice. By the final week, you’ll be creating sequences that feel unmistakably your own.
Breath
Spend thirty minutes each day with the practice described in the ancient texts as the bridge between body and mind. Nadi Shodhana, Ujjayi, Sukha Purvak, Shitali, and Mahayoga are among the techniques explored. What may feel unfamiliar on day one becomes natural by day ten. Most students arrive without having been taught how to breathe; nobody leaves that way.
Silence
A daily thirty-minute seated practice draws from Buddhism, Tantra, Advaita Vedanta, and Kashmir Shaivism. This is not an app-based experience, but a living tradition shared by teachers with decades of practice. Here, training shifts from information into direct experience.
Locks & Seals
Explore the subtle mechanics of energy through hand mudras, Ashwini Mudra, Uddiyana Bandha, and the ways yogis have worked with prana for centuries. These quietly powerful practices are rarely included in 200-hour trainings, and here they are taught with both reverence and anatomy.
Anatomy
Taught by a registered physiotherapist who continues to work with real bodies, this module covers bones, muscles, breath, nerves, and organs through direct experience rather than memorized slides. You’ll leave understanding why poses feel the way they do and how to keep every body in your class safe, including your own.
Masterclass
Asanas are broken down one by one, with attention to alignment, adjustments, corrections, and variations across every family of poses — from seated meditation postures to inversions and arm balances. It’s the difference between performing a pose and truly understanding it.
Art of Teaching
Authenticity sits at the heart of what it means to be a Samasti graduate and teacher. You will study the role of a yoga teacher, teaching principles, sequencing, class structure, the business of yoga, communication, and more. You’ll also have two full one-hour opportunities to teach a class to your peers, with feedback from the teacher.
Beyond Asana
Discover the wider world that the postures exist within: the Yoga Sutras, the paths of yoga, ethics, Ayurveda, the subtle anatomy of prana, nadis, and chakras, Tantra, Yoga Nidra, Sanskrit, and mantra. Sixty hours of philosophy are taught as living questions rather than history lessons, because none of it was ever meant to remain on the page.
