"Tuning into the Wild" is a project devoted to reconnecting deeply with a wild state that awakens our true nature and our place on Mother Earth. Through workshops ranging from Qi Gong to somatic practice, voice work, and permaculture, we will focus on cultivating awareness and creativity through vocal movement. The event unfolds within the red landscapes of Puglia, which will serve as our muse and source of inspiration. Nature will be our guide, resonating with our untamed instincts as we nurture a sense of total belonging, allowing identity to expand until it feels part of the drifting clouds or a blade of grass dancing in the wind.
The work will take place in a dance studio open to the surrounding landscape, blending the pleasure of the sea at sunrise, ancient olive groves, and excursions into pristine natural settings. This edition of the retreat will inspire dancers, actors, singers, and anyone interested in naturalism, permaculture, ecopsychology, and deep ecology. It is an invitation to make room for wonder and celebrate the soul of the world.
For this third edition, we will practice Qi Gong, Feldenkrais, Body-Mind Centering, contact improvisation, moving massage, biodynamic craniosacral bodywork, and permaculture classes. On the beach at dawn, between swims, we will enjoy sand massage, contact, meditation, and yoga. During excursions to natural sites, we will explore authentic movement and wild dance improvisation. At sunset, in a circle beneath a geodesic dome, we will share traditional songs of reconnection with the Earth. The evening will end with an open exchange for anyone wishing to present pieces, performances, videos, photos, or improvisation jam sessions.
The retreat’s artistic direction is entrusted to Francesco Zita, who will guide this transformative experience.
