Friday 4th August – Sunday 6th August
August brings summer at its fullest: long, bright days, abundant nature, and an atmosphere that invites wonder, playfulness, and curiosity. It is the perfect moment to slow the pace, breathe deeply, spend time outdoors, and soften into the heart.
Over this weekend retreat, you will be invited to reconnect with yourself, with nature, and with others through embodied practices designed to nourish your inner landscape and awaken a deeper sense of vitality. The yoga sessions are crafted to support both spacious, mindful awareness and profound calm. Morning classes will explore the beauty of flow states — those moments when we feel aligned with our surroundings, intentions, and intuition, and more fully present within ourselves. Evening practices will turn the attention inward through grounding poses that encourage relaxation, softness, and a restorative sense of self-care.
There will also be time to enjoy Linda’s delicious food, explore the beautiful landscape of St. Mullins, connect with fellow guests, and rediscover the quiet magic of nature.

A little bit about me:
I found yoga in 2003 while recovering from a painful injury, and I have practiced regularly ever since. My path began under the guidance of two inspiring teachers, Orla Punch and Greg Walsh, whose teaching fostered a deep respect for yoga and for the remarkable complexity of the human body. In 2009, I completed my Vinyasa Flow teacher training with David Curtis and Ruth Walshe, and later expanded my studies through Yin yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and yoga anatomy. I believe yoga can support everyone, regardless of age, flexibility, or fitness level, and can help cultivate genuine self-acceptance, radical compassion, and joyful curiosity.
This spacious, light-filled studio overlooks the Barrow River, the surrounding forests, and the 7th century monastic settlement of St Mullins. Designed specifically as a yoga and meditation space, it also accommodates a range of other uses. The studio includes an infrared heating system and a full set of yoga equipment.
Food is a central part of the experience at Mulvarra. We care deeply about where it comes from, how it is grown, how it is prepared, and who shares it with us. While Mulvarra and the Breathing Space are still developing, fresh ingredients and organic produce are used whenever possible, and future plans include growing our own food. The kitchen generally focuses on vegetarian cooking, with flexibility for a variety of dietary restrictions. Vegetarian food is wonderfully versatile, and when meat is served on rare occasions, it is organically sourced.
