From October 2 to 4, 2026, in the heart of the Sierra de Gredos, Hospedería del Silencio will host an autumn retreat designed as an immersive journey of deep transformation. Over three days, from Friday to Sunday, Iyengar Yoga, Classical Tantra Yoga, and mantra chanting will serve as living tools for self-inquiry, emotional healing, and the expansion of consciousness. In this sacred setting, the voice is understood as vibration, movement, and pure energy, with the power to release stored memories and emotions held in the body and mind.
During this experiential retreat, we will explore the therapeutic power of sound and conscious movement, allowing the voice to arise without judgment as an authentic channel for the expression of the Self. We will go deeper into six traditional mantras, the specific Healing Mantra, and the correct practice of OM, the primal sound and source of all vibration. We will also work intensively with Bija Mantras and Shakti Bija Mantras for the healing of the energy centers. These practices will be integrated with Iyengar Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Kriya Yoga, whose precise and mindful approach offers a stable foundation for the energy of the voice to flow with safety, presence, and depth.
Every human being longs for health, fullness, and happiness, yet these states are not reached through shortcuts or blind beliefs. Yoga, meditation, sound, and Ayurveda offer a clear path of self-inquiry, helping us understand how our physical, mental, and emotional habits directly shape our well-being. From the perspective of Yoga, Tantra, and Ayurveda, health is defined as “Swastha,” meaning to be established in the Self. Imbalance arises when we move away from our essential nature, the spirit. Through conscious practice of the body, breath, voice, and silence, we will create a framework that supports each participant in designing a personal sādhana for life: a daily practice that sustains well-being, joy, purpose, and inner freedom.
We will learn chants that help release stagnant emotions and can be used according to the emotional or vital state we are experiencing in life. It is important to note that this retreat does not address specific pathologies through chanting; for that purpose, we recommend personalized private consultations.
All retreats are taught in Spanish, with English translation available.
The retreat will be led by Pablo Ferrero, a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher with diplomas in yogic studies from Pune University and the Bihar School of Yoga in India. He is an osteopath and a specialist in massage and Ayurvedic nutrition, as well as a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and Shaivite Tantra. He has extensive experience leading retreats and trainings in the Indian Pre-Himalayas and Nepal. A musician and writer, Pablo has considered chanting an essential tool for self-exploration and inner transformation since an early age. He has studied singing with various teachers in Spain and India, integrating this practice organically into his personal and spiritual path. Since 2012, he has practiced mantra chanting regularly, and since 2020 medicine music chanting has become a fundamental part of his daily sādhana, as a path of healing, presence, and connection.
The experience is co-led by Bárbara Montes, a Yoga teacher trained in Asia and Spain. She is an advanced Iyengar Yoga practitioner and a Sanskrit student at the University of Barcelona.
