Dive Control Specialists play an important leadership role within diving programs, supporting certified divers while also taking on a wider range of responsibilities in the water. In addition to guiding and supervising dives, they may begin teaching selected specialty courses and assist Instructors during diving classes, helping create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
This position is ideal for divers who want to deepen their involvement in the sport and build confidence in both supervision and instruction. It offers a meaningful step forward for those interested in developing their skills, expanding their knowledge, and contributing more actively to the diving experience of others.
Whether working alongside an Instructor or leading certified divers, Dive Control Specialists help maintain organization, safety, and professionalism throughout each session.
