The Annapurna Circuit Yoga Trek with Tilicho Lake brings together adventure, spirituality, and natural beauty in one unforgettable Himalayan experience. Set in Nepal’s spectacular Annapurna mountain range, the route leads through changing scenery, ancient settlements, and sacred sites before reaching the breathtaking high-altitude Tilicho Lake.
Yoga sessions are woven into the journey to support physical vitality and mental clarity, creating a more meditative and restorative trekking experience.
This classic circuit passes through subtropical forests, alpine meadows, and stark high-altitude terrain. Along the way, you’ll visit traditional Tibetan-influenced villages such as Manang, cross the famous Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters, and continue to Tilicho Lake at 4,919 meters, one of the highest lakes in the world.
Other memorable moments include the sacred Muktinath Temple, the apple-growing village of Marpha, the soothing hot springs of Tatopani, and the sunrise views from Poon Hill. The trek also offers wide-open views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, along with rich local culture and warm hospitality.
From forested valleys and terraced hillsides to snow-covered peaks and dramatic mountain passes, this trek reveals some of Nepal’s most iconic scenery. It is also a meaningful cultural journey, with time spent in mountain villages, at monasteries, and in pilgrimage sites that hold deep significance for Hindu and Buddhist travelers alike.
On arrival at the airport, our representative transfers you to your hotel. In the evening, you join a pre-trek briefing with your guide to review the route, discuss equipment, and make final preparations.
At around 7 AM, your trekking guide picks you up from the hotel. The drive follows the Kathmandu-Pokhara highway to Dumre, then continues along the Marsyangdi River to Besisahar and on to Bhulbhule, where you enjoy evening yoga, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Begin the day with morning yoga stretches and breathing exercises before breakfast. The trek to Chamje takes about 7 to 8 hours, passing suspension bridges, villages such as Ngadi and Bahundanda, and the stone village of Jagat before continuing through forested trails to Chamje.
After yoga and breakfast, continue along the Marsyangdi River, crossing bridges and moving through bamboo and rhododendron forests. The trail passes Dharapani and leads to Bagarchhap, a village known for its Gurung architecture and mountain views.
This approximately 6-hour trek leads through Danaque village and a steep climb to a Tamang village with views of Manaslu, Lamjung, and Annapurna. Chame, the administrative center of Manang, offers striking Himalayan scenery.
The route moves from apple orchards into fir and pine forests, passing Bharatang and Dhukur Pokhari. You continue through pine woodland, a long Mani wall, and arrive at Pisang, where Upper and Lower Pisang offer different perspectives of the surrounding peaks.
Climb a steep ridge for views of the Manang Valley and Tilicho Peak, then continue through Hongde, Mungji, and Braga, known for its monastery. After a short ascent, you reach Manang for rest, acclimatization, evening yoga, and meditation.
Take a rest day with optional hikes to Ice Lake, Praken Gompa, or Gangapurna Lake. Evening yoga helps release tension before the next stage of the trek.
Walk via Khangsar village after crossing a suspension bridge and a pine forest. After lunch, continue to Shree Kharka for an overnight stay with yoga and dinner.
Follow the route through the landslide area, with impressive rock formations and views of Tilicho Peak and nearby snow peaks. The day ends with evening yoga and an overnight stay at the lodge.
After breakfast, hike early to Tilicho Lake, surrounded by 360-degree mountain views. Spend time at the lake before descending back to the lodge and returning to ShreeKharka.
Continue through changing landscapes, grazing pastures, and the village of Gunsang. The gradual ascent supports acclimatization before reaching Yak Kharka.
Cross a suspension bridge over the Kone Khola River, pass Ledar, and descend toward Thorong Phedi, the base for the crossing of Thorong La Pass. Early dinner and rest are recommended.
Start early for the demanding ascent to Thorong La Pass. After reaching the summit, descend through the Kali Gandaki Valley to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.
Descend through the Kali Gandaki Valley and the windy gorge, passing Kagbeni before arriving in Jomsom. Evening yoga and rest prepare you for the next day.
Travel via a new trail past Chokhopani village, with panoramic views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Annapurna, and other snow-capped peaks. Tatopani’s hot springs offer a welcome chance to relax.
After morning yoga and breakfast, begin the steady climb through terraced fields, across the Kali Gandaki River, and into rhododendron forest before reaching Ghorepani.
Enjoy the sunrise hike to Poon Hill and continue onward to TikheDhunga, with more mountain scenery along the way.
