Spend a restorative week in a setting designed to renew body and soul, guided by senior Kripalu faculty and experienced retreat leader Jurian Hughes. This journey unfolds at Playa Chacala, a healing stretch of coastline on the Pacific Ocean in Riviera Nayarit, where golden sand, coconut trees, and tropical jungle create a serene and beautiful backdrop.
Each day includes yoga, meditation, and deep relaxation, along with dance, chanting, laughter, and meaningful conversations centered on the wisdom of yoga. The experience is created to leave you feeling rested, revitalized, and clear, with space for both quiet reflection and connection.
Rooted in the meaning of the word “kripalu,” which signifies compassion, Kripalu Yoga is accessible to everyone and invites both ease and energy, confidence and contentment. Throughout the week, you’ll be nourished by sea and sun, delicious food, fresh ocean air, and healing self-care practices. The sound of the surf will accompany your nights and help carry you into sleep.
A typical day may include:

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Providers such as Travel Guard and Trawick International offer policies that may protect your investment if you need to cancel, including “cancel for any reason” coverage, as well as coverage for weather and travel delays, personal property loss, and emergency travel medical expenses.
