Nestor is an internationally acclaimed sound therapist, trainer, facilitator, and overtone singer. His articles, music, and interviews have appeared in magazines, TV programs, films, and radio shows in several countries.
Since 2005, he has worked to establish men's circles and men's groups, and he played a key role in creating the first Mankind Project® men's circle in Spain in 2018. The Mankind Project® has helped tens of thousands of men in dozens of countries find a harmonious place in society, discover their power, and nurture their true essence.
Known for explaining complex ideas in clear, down-to-earth language, Nestor combines scientific and spiritual perspectives with passion and humour, making him an effective teacher and course leader.
He has also overcome significant personal challenges, including early family separation, addiction, chronic illness, and other issues that affect many people today. This experience uniquely equips him to support others in applying universal laws within their own healing process.
Alongside his wife and sound partner, Michele Averard, Nestor has co-facilitated one of Europe’s longest-running sound therapy training courses, designed to help participants practice as sound therapists and integrate sound healing into other therapeutic modalities.

Stefan Beckers: Guiding People to Embrace Their True Selves
As the driving force behind "Thuis in Jezelf" (At Home in Yourself), his holistic center in Belgium, Stefan Beckers brings together many roles: manager, energy worker, sound therapist, healer, depression coach, and a quiet force behind the scenes.
From Overwhelm to Embrace… His guiding principle is simple: live in the flow. He believes that discovering your true self frees you from social projections and imposed norms, allowing you to consciously shape your own path.
Perspective is Key For Stefan, perspective matters deeply. A clear outlook supports life’s natural movement, and that clarity begins within.
A Journey of Turbulence His personal path was not easy. As a teenager, he felt lost and numb, unable to find his place in an environment that did not understand his natural energetic sensitivity. In his early twenties, he used his analytical mind to build a career in the non-profit sector. Yet unresolved childhood trauma and ongoing stress led to two burnouts, turning points that led him to embrace his true self and his sensitivity rather than hide it.
Continual Growth He does not claim to be “finished” and continues to work through the traumas he has faced. The difference now is that he no longer suppresses them or allows them to unconsciously shape his life. Instead, he recognises, names, and acknowledges them, allowing the wounds to heal and become part of his life journey.
A Fusion of Strengths Structure, organisation, and analysis remain his strengths. Today, he combines them with energetic sensitivity and finds purpose in that union. He is grateful to make a difference as an energy worker, compassionate listener, and source of insight, whether addressing life questions, supporting collaboration, or navigating energy influences, always with clarity and a touch of humour.
A Beacon in Dark Times High sensitivity, trauma, growing pains, addiction, burnout, and depression are all experiences he understands personally. In difficult times, he offers support.
A Transition to Full-Time Healing After 15 years in the non-profit sector, he shifted into full-time energy work, healing, and coaching. With three decades of experience in energetically cleansing homes, he is often called a “House Whisperer.”
His Mission His mission is simple and profound: to be there for others as a beacon of light, guiding people to embrace their true selves one step at a time.
Stefan lives in Belgium with his wife and partner, Mieke Pollfliet, who is also a sound healer, singer-songwriter, and leader of both singing circles and women's circles. Together, Stefan and Mieke organise Nestor and Michele’s annual Sound Healer Training Course in Belgium.
