Spend late August surrounded by nature at a magical eco-friendly property close to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
This retreat is designed to nourish body and soul with daily yoga, meditation, hot tubs, sauna time, river bathing, and forest bathing, offering a true pause from the pace of everyday life. Sometimes, less is exactly what we need.
Rooted in immersion and simplicity, the experience invites you to walk barefoot, connect deeply with the forest, and open all layers of your being.
Begin each morning with traditional Ashtanga yoga, then close the day with mindful breath and inner exploration. The lush setting of Ekodrom Estate creates a calming backdrop for rest, reflection, and deep, replenishing breaths.
During the retreat, you will also visit the renowned Plitvice Lakes National Park, with time built in to relax in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, hammock, or with a book or journal in hand.
Food is lovingly prepared by chef Tea, who will serve two fresh vegetarian meals and snacks each day. Gluten-free and vegan options are available as well.
The retreat includes daily deep and insightful Ashtanga yoga classes, guided mindfulness explorations, forest bathing, a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, river bathing, and ample free time to enjoy the hot tubs, sauna, and in-house massages.
Welcome to Croatia. Your journey begins in Zagreb, where a private transfer will bring you to our peaceful retreat setting.
After settling in and taking in the surroundings, we’ll gather for an opening circle and group meditation.
In the evening, Tea will prepare a delicious dinner.
The day starts with traditional Ashtanga yoga, followed by brunch.
Next, we move into forest bathing. Walking in silence helps deepen our relationship with nature, support inner peace, and strengthen intuition.
The afternoon is free for slow living: wandering through the forest, picking wild flowers, or unwinding in the outdoor hot tubs and saunas.
Before dinner, Irena will lead a gentle restorative yoga class, followed by dinner and a bonfire circle.
After morning practice and breakfast, explore Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its 16 interconnected lakes and waterfalls.
This is a place of magic, forest fairies, and recharging ions.
Return for a warm dinner and more time by the forest fire.
As always, the morning begins with Ashtanga yoga and a healthy brunch.
In the afternoon, head to the nearby Mreznica River, where you can swim, rent a kayak or SUP, or simply enjoy a coffee at the beach bar.
Back at the property, a well-deserved yin yoga class awaits before a nourishing dinner.
We close the retreat with a morning yoga session, a closing circle, and a wholesome brunch.
Feeling recharged and renewed, you’ll be ready to return to everyday life.
Afterward, you will be escorted to Zagreb, where you may continue your journey home or stay on in Croatia.
Ekodrom Estate offers a peaceful place to slow down, get lost, and find calm. Set in a private location surrounded by plum orchards and lush greenery, the property includes four houses once belonging to Grandmother Ljuba and now cared for by her grandson Marko. One was formerly a barn and two were cattle stables, later transformed into modern homes by Marko and friends. Each house features a private outdoor hot tub, with sauna and in-house massage also available.
Enjoy two daily meals and snacks prepared by our in-house chef, guided by the motto: eat fresh, support local.
Brunches and dinners include vegetarian or vegan options, with gluten-free choices available. Coffee, tea, fruit, and snacks are offered throughout the day.
