The Details at a Glance
Location
Supersenang is a boutique resort with 9 lodges in West Bali, located just 2km west of Balian Beach. Its ocean, ricefield, and mountain outlook creates an ideal environment for self-care, nature connection, healing, and restoration.
Nourishment
Enjoy three meals a day, afternoon tea, Indonesian flavours, healthy choices, and a few treats along the way. This retreat is designed for those ready to step away from busy, structured routines and reconnect with themselves and the natural world in a more meaningful way.
The Venue - Supersenang
Meaning “super happy,” Supersenang offers a peaceful haven surrounded by lush jungle, rice fields, and views across the Indian Ocean, with sunsets over Java each evening. Wake to the sound of the sea, walk barefoot on the beach, and return to a private boutique sanctuary created for rest, creativity, and connection. It is a nurturing home away from home in the rugged beauty of West Bali.
The Shala, The Rituals
Practice in the brand-new ocean-facing yoga shala, where sea breezes and the soft sound of waves create a calm space for letting go. Alongside your practice, you will be invited into traditional Balinese rituals, including the Melukat purification ceremony at a local water temple, designed to cleanse body, soul, and spirit.
The Village
Balian Beach offers a quieter side of Bali, far from the traffic and crowds of the island’s busier areas. Known as “healer,” Balian reflects the spirit of old Bali, with one main street, the Balian River, a rugged surf beach, and a relaxed sense of hospitality. Small warungs, a mini mart, and a night market add to the village charm, while Supersenang sits just 2km away and is easy to reach on foot or by motorbike.
Sacred Geometry Art
A guest facilitator will guide you through sacred geometry art, blending pattern recognition in nature with mandala painting. Using a compass, ruler, and pencil, you will explore forms inspired by seeds, cells, planets, and DNA, then paint or colour your own design in quiet stillness. No artistic experience is needed. This creative practice adds another layer of depth to your yoga journey, and you will take home your artwork for meditation or simple enjoyment.
Program - What to Expect
This is a rare opportunity to connect with the heart of Bali and with yourself in an intimate small-group setting. You will share time with local people, deepen your understanding of village life, and experience the island’s spirituality through ceremony, ritual, and sacred geometry.
The program begins at 4pm on Saturday 26 September and concludes at 12pm on Thursday 1 October. Included experiences are:
