Designed for adults who want to step away from everyday pressure and reconnect with God in a joyful, playful, and meaningful way, this weekend retreat at Camp Iron Bluffs invites participants to rediscover the freedom, wonder, and simplicity of childlike faith. Set across 4,000 acres in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, it offers a peaceful setting for spiritual renewal.

From July 30 – August 2, responsibilities begin to fade, making room for rest, laughter, reflection, and a deeper sense of connection.

What you will experience:

• Wonder & Worship: Rediscover awe in God’s presence and notice Him in everyday life (Matthew 18:3)
• Trusting Without Hesitation: Reflect on what it means to trust God fully, like a child trusts a loving parent (Isaiah 41:10)
• Freedom in Forgiveness: Experience the healing and release that come from forgiving others and yourself (Ephesians 4:32)
• Living Fully & Fearlessly: Step boldly into the life God designed for you, walking in the renewing truth of Romans 12:2

Participants can also take part in archery, hiking, fishing, arts and crafts, disc golf, mountaineering, and team challenges. Whether the moment is playful or reflective, each experience is created to deepen your connection with Christ.

Christ at the Center

Through worship, devotionals, and intentional activities, participants explore Biblical Truth through a teaching tool known as the Cycle of Significance. This framework shows how what you take in, along with your thoughts, reflections, and focus, shapes your feelings, guides your actions, and creates lasting significance in your life.

At Big Kids Camp, faith is approached with joy, curiosity, and simplicity. Guided by Matthew 18:3, participants are encouraged to return to the trusting, humble posture of a child before God.

Camp Iron Bluffs is described as a thin place, where heaven and earth meet and God’s presence feels close. The retreat creates space to step away from distractions, reflect, and encounter God.

The aim is not only to experience God at camp, but also to learn how to create “thin spaces” in everyday life, bringing God’s presence and peace into work, family, and daily routines.
