Ayahuasca
What is Ayahuasca?
Technically:
This powerful medicine is a decoction created through the precise combination of two botanical components:
- Banisteriopsis caapi (Yagé or Ayahuasca): Contains harmine and tetrahydroharmine (THH), beta-carboline alkaloids that act as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), allowing the primary psychoactive compound, dimethyltryptamine (DMT), to become active.
- A second DMT-bearing plant: Usually Psychotria viridis (Chacruna) or also Diplopterys cabrerana (Chagropanga or Chaliponga).
Traditionally:
Ayahuasca is an infusion of two or more Amazonian plants that results in an intoxicating, magical drink. For millennia, this sacred brew has been used as an essential part of our culture in ancestral ceremonies and rituals.
Experientially…
"I discovered a light and so much love within myself that I thought I had lost."

"For my Ayahuasca experience, it went beyond what I could ask for. I found my source of inner love with the guidance of Alberto and Ola. I faced my greatest fear and heard Alberto's voice telling me 'with love' during the ceremony. I will remember that moment to help me stay centered when I face fear and anxiety in the future."

- You then take part in the consecration of the master plant Sananga to unlock perception and release negative energies.
- This is followed by the consecration of the medicine Rapé to quiet the mind, connect with the heart, and transmute energy.
- Finally, the sacred plant Ayahuasca is consecrated.
