



Experience Montenegro at its most active and inspiring with a carefully designed combination of biking and hiking through the mountains of the north. This journey brings together untouched nature, dramatic landscapes, open pastures, lakes, and fresh mountain air for travelers who love adventure and want to unwind both body and mind.
Along the way, you will explore Kolašin, often described as an aerial spa, as well as Bjelasica, a mountain known for its easy access to high peaks, rich forests, and abundant water. The route also leads to the famous Jezerine ski resort and the beautiful Biogradska River and Biogradsko Lake, located in Biogradska Gora National Park, one of the last three rain forests in Europe. Another highlight is Durmitor National Park, whose name is believed to come from a Celtic word meaning “a mountain full of water.” Declared a national park in 1952, Durmitor is celebrated for its lakes, rivers, canyons, flora, fauna, and authentic natural beauty. The adventure also includes Žabljak, the highest town in the Balkans, and many other remarkable places.
Day 1: Arrival at the airport in Podgorica or Tivat, or at the port in Kotor, Bar, or Tivat. Transfer to Kolašin, check-in, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Bjelasica – Troglava – Zekova glava hiking tour. Overnight in Kolašin.
Breakfast. Transfer from Kolašin to the starting point of the hike.

Starting from the ski slopes, this trail offers beautiful mountain scenery, diverse flora, colorful meadows, flowers, and forest landscapes. At Zekova glava, you will enjoy a stunning view of Pešića Lake, set between Zekova glava and Crna glava. The route also includes Small and Large Ursulovačko Lake and Small and Large Šiško Lake. A break is planned in the ethno village of Vranjak, where you can enjoy coffee and traditional food in a peaceful rural setting.
Day 3: Biking tour: Kolašin – Donje Lipovo – Gornje Lipovo – Lipovo serpentine – Vratlo bend – Sinjajevina plateau – Pašino field – Zminičko Lake – Njegovuđa village – Žabljak Municipality. Dinner and overnight in Žabljak.

This cycling day begins in Lipovo, a village known for its green forests and cold spring water. The ride continues past katuns and scenic views of Sinjajevina, then along serpentines toward Vratlo. Near Njegovuđa, you will reach Zminičko Lake, one of the 18 lakes in the Durmitor region. If weather conditions allow, there may be time for a swim. Those who prefer a quieter pause can enjoy their lunch package or refreshment near the church of St. Georgije in Zminica before continuing toward Žabljak.
Day 4: Durmitor – Bobotov kuk hiking tour. Overnight in Žabljak.
Breakfast. Transfer by vehicle to the starting point of the hike.

This mountain hike begins at Sedlo and follows a gentle ascent northward. The trail passes grassy paths, meadow sections, and rocky terrain before entering the Surutka valley. On the way to Bobotov kuk, you will find springs with fresh mountain water and enjoy views of the Škrčka lakes, known as “mountain eyes.” The final climb is more technically demanding, especially during the last 20 minutes, but the trail is secured and offers enough space for a safe passage.
Day 5: Žabljak – Gornja Bukovica – Timar – Krnja Jela – Katun Ječmen do – Lipovo serpentine – Lipovo village – Kolašin.

This final cycling route passes through Gornja Bukovica, Timar, and Krnja Jela before reaching Katun Ječmen do, one of the largest katuns of Sinjajevina. The scenery includes vast pastures, mountain peaks, and characteristic flora, making this a memorable closing day before returning to Kolašin.
Day 6: Free time. Optional visit to Biogradska Gora National Park if time allows. Transfer to the airport in Podgorica or Tivat, or to the port in Kotor, Bar, or Tivat.
