Kundalini Yoga and Huachuma Ceremony (San Pedro)

On Thursday, May 9, during the Ascension holiday, we once again welcome our Grandfather and Great Master Huachuma. This ceremony will be guided by medicine woman and Sacred Fire Keeper Mariela Pakari from Chile, who weaves together yoga, free dance, and music at the most fitting moments throughout the day.

This sacred circle of life is honored within the prophecy of the reunion between the Eagle and the Condor. The light of the Grandfather invites us to witness, accept, and transform our inner shadow. Yoga brings the focus needed for prayer, while free dance and music connect us with freedom in spirit and soul.

Through this unique combination of the Grandfather with yogic focus, surrender, and concentration, we can feel our prayer more deeply and move beyond it. Personal instruments are warmly welcome.

To support a clear intention, we ask that you begin the day on an empty stomach. A light meal is possible, but fasting is preferred. Throughout the day, water intake should be kept to an absolute minimum so the medicine can fully unfold its power; just before the ceremony, this is not a problem.

We will gather at 08:45. The day ends around 20:30 with a shared meal of soup and bread. Before and after the ceremony, and for two to three days surrounding it, we recommend avoiding red meat, alcohol, and sugar so you can bring the day to its highest potential.
