Join Robin Greenfield as your guide in learning how to identify, harvest, and enjoy the food and medicine growing freely around you.
This Foraging School experience offers a chance to discover the abundance available in your own region while deepening your connection to the Earth and strengthening community ties.
Food and medicine are growing all around us, and this is an invitation to recognize, gather, and appreciate them with greater confidence.
Through plant walks across Omega’s campus, you will learn more than 30 edible and medicinal plants and take part in hands-on workshops focused on harvesting, processing, and preservation. You will also explore how to avoid toxic lookalikes, understand the right timing for harvest, and practice foraging ethics, including sustainability and safe urban foraging.
Robin shares his close relationship with plant relatives, informed by the year he spent foraging all of his food. Practical guidance on drying, freezing, canning, and storage will help you move toward a more Earth-connected way of living.
Return home inspired to make foraging part of your life.
