Designed as an extension of our introductory training, this two-day course offers a deeper look at essential snow travel skills for alpine environments. Participants will build confidence in moving safely across snow-covered terrain while learning how to use snow anchors, work effectively as part of a roped team, and ascend fixed lines with greater control and awareness.
In addition to these core skills, crevasse rescue can also be included if requested, adding another valuable layer of preparation for glacier travel and other technical conditions. The course is structured to support practical learning in a focused, hands-on setting, helping guests strengthen their understanding of teamwork, safety, and movement in winter terrain.
Ideal for those ready to expand on foundational knowledge, this training combines technical instruction with real-world application to help you feel more prepared for future mountain adventures.
