Led by world-class BASI Pilates faculty, this intensive format offers a focused path into MAT teacher training with time to practice, explore, and discuss the work in greater depth. Participants will strengthen their bodies through daily BASI Pilates practice, deepen their understanding of the BASI principles, and learn how to teach clients up to advanced level on the Mat.

Zen Rocks is a sanctuary in nature, shaped by mindfulness, sustainability, and a slower rhythm of living. The environment encourages quiet presence, simplicity, and a deeper connection with yourself and the natural world. Program Overview

This 6-module program takes place over 7 days and includes 24 hours of lecture, discussion, exercise practice, and exercise analysis. All material from the standard Mat Program is covered, with the same completion requirements. The curriculum includes Fundamental, Intermediate, and Advanced Pilates repertoire, along with a one-hour Mat class in each module.

Module 1: The Fundamentals, including the 10 movement principles, pelvic region overview, Pilates breathing, history, BASI approach, and teaching safety
Module 2: Anatomy Overview Part 1, with bones, muscles, joints, bony landmarks, center of gravity, and cueing
Module 3: Anatomy Overview Part 2, including movement analysis, exercise physiology, aerobic and anaerobic exercise, and the BASI Block System
Module 4: Posture Assessment, alignment principles, and exercise as an assessment tool
Module 5: Core Strength, contraindications, client needs, body type, the role of the teacher, and flow in a session
Module 6: Exercise Adaptation, assists, modifications, program construction, and final review

Previous Mat practice is helpful but not essential. Teaching experience, especially in movement, is an advantage. Experienced practitioners from yoga, fitness, or dance backgrounds may also follow this rigorous, supportive, and strengthening training.

Deposit: 500€ with the registration application. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the course starts. Refund terms apply for Covid-related cancellations, with a full refund minus a 50€ handling fee up to 30 days before the course begins. No refunds are available after the course starts.
