A 7-day programme designed to offer rest, meditation, nature walks, reading, listening, and the chanting of mantras and bhajans.

This experience has been thoughtfully created for people whose work is highly mental, or for those who feel they never stop thinking or worrying. They may wish their mind would quiet down, yet thoughts keep moving constantly, leaving no moment completely free from concern.

In Ayurveda, such patterns are linked to a very high level of Vata dosha in the body and mind. For that reason, this programme includes food and a lifestyle approach intended to reduce Vata dosha while increasing Kapha and Pitta.

At Vanadevi, we believe in the connection between the outer cosmos and the inner cosmos. We feel that many challenges begin when we move too far from our origin. In today’s world, the deepest need is to reconnect with nature, our primary source of wellbeing.

Day Schedule

6 AM: Waking up, herbal tea
6:30 AM: Silent meditation
7:30 AM: Walk in the surrounding area while chanting mantras
8:30 AM: Breakfast
9:30 AM: Read your favourite book under the trees
11 AM: Choose your own adventure (walking, swimming, doing nothing)
00:30 PM: Lunch
2:30 PM: Visit the nearby waterfall
4:30 PM: Tea time
5:30 PM: Evening meditation
7 PM: Dinner
