A 3-day workshop created for complete beginners, as well as for anyone who would like to return to the foundations of practice in a safe, accessible, and guided setting.
Historical Background
Iyengar Yoga takes its name from its founder and interpreter, Bellur Krishnamachar Sundararaja Iyengar, an extraordinary teacher who passed away in 2014. Born in Pune, India, he was the creator and leading promoter of this style of yoga. The method centers on structural body alignment through the practice of asanas. It differs clearly from many other yoga styles, standing out for three main qualities: exceptional precision in each posture, carefully arranged sequences, and the use of supportive props that assist physical practice, such as the Iyengar chair, wall ropes, and more.
What's Included
Daily yoga classes, daily meditation sessions, unlimited water and herbal teas, healthy snacks, and a YogaMea School certificate of participation.
Additional Services (extra)
