Have you always felt called to become a yoga teacher? Perhaps you already sense that this is your path. Maybe you are not ready to teach yet, but want to go deeper into the practice. Or perhaps you are already teaching and want to expand your knowledge.
Who is this training for?
This hybrid Yoga Teacher Training is created for students who want depth, flexibility, and meaningful integration.
Instead of stepping away from your life for three full weeks, you begin from home and then complete the journey with an immersive in-person experience in Bali.
Over three months of live online study via Zoom, you will build a strong foundation in yoga philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology, and personal practice before gathering for ten transformational days in Bali to practice teach, embody the learning, and fully integrate your experience.
This training is ideal if you:
This is more than a training; it is a journey that meets you where you are and invites you into a deeper, more embodied understanding of yoga.
What you're learning
This 200-hour hybrid training blends asana, anatomy, philosophy, meditation, and pranayama so you graduate with a well-rounded understanding of yoga beyond the poses. You will also develop practical teaching skills, including sequencing, cueing, adjustments, and space-holding, through hands-on practice and personalized feedback in a small-group setting. Rooted in the Yoga Sutras and authentic philosophy, the curriculum is designed to support transformative growth and prepare you to share yoga with confidence anywhere in the world.

Meet our YTT Teaching Team
Alexandra
Alexandra is the Lead Teacher at Mindful Bali. She has been teaching yoga since 2014 and has lived in Bali, Indonesia since 2021. Originally from Canada, she studied Arts and Education before teaching at international private schools in the Middle East. After visiting Bali in 2017, she felt deeply at home and later built her life there through yoga. In 2019, after quitting alcohol, she focused her energy on growing her online yoga community, The Mindful Life Practice, until she was able to move to Bali and begin hosting retreats and yoga teacher trainings. She later built her own yoga shala in her home in Pejeng and now teaches regularly while hosting events. She welcomes you to join her for a retreat, a training, or a class.
Marlen
Marlen is an experienced anatomy educator and yoga teacher with nearly a decade of teaching and YTT-trainer experience. She leads anatomy modules in 200-hour and 300-hour trainings, as well as Yin Yoga and TCM programs, and continues to update her knowledge through research in fascia, biomechanics, and nervous system science.
Her teaching combines functional anatomy, postural assessment, myofascial release, and breath-driven movement to help students understand safe and intentional practice. Her approach is precise, embodied, and evidence-informed, supporting mobility, reducing tension, and building long-term structural awareness.
ID
ID is a Balinese yoga teacher who teaches yin, pranayama, and hatha flow, and also guides students in mala bead necklace creation. She teaches at studios across Bali and on retreats and trainings.
Ayu
Ayu has been teaching yoga since 2014, after completing her training in Bali that same year. She lives in Sukawati, Gianyar, and teaches vinyasa flow and yin. She also teaches drop-in classes at Mindful Bali and occasionally contributes to the YTTs.
Guest teachers also join the training with classes in kundalini, sound healing, hypnotherapy, and more. When Alexandra’s YTT graduates visit, they may also be invited to teach, giving you a wide range of perspectives during your time here.
What our graduates say
Emma Kearney, UK: “I found Alex and her classes by chance and I have to honestly say I've never been made to feel more welcome and instantly part of the community without being overwhelmed. No cliquey or elitist feel here unlike other Ubud places I've visited for yoga. The classes themselves are excellent, Alex is a natural at teaching yoga. Plus a great location and first rate facilities.”
