Description

More than a typical bear gathering, this summer camp is created for GBTQ men who are looking for both belonging and deeper connection. While Bear community events often provide fun, socializing, and entertainment, many still carry questions around body image, identity, and self-acceptance. This retreat offers space to explore those themes in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Through workshops, playful activities, group discussions, and moments of celebration, the program is designed to help GBTQ men of all body types connect with themselves and with one another. The intention is to support comfort in your own skin, while encouraging authenticity and vulnerability as pathways toward a more fulfilling life.

We invite you to connect, play, and discover with us.

Event Highlights:

  • Food, lodging, and all activities and workshops are included
  • The signature Loving Our Bear Bodies workshop, a welcoming journey into the beauty within the bear body
  • The Bear-Mazing Race, a campus-wide scavenger hunt filled with fun and hilarious challenges
  • Daily small group check-ins, often described as a favorite part of the experience
  • Bear Games: 3-Some, a live game show night featuring three interactive and entertaining games
  • A Bonfire Naming Ceremony, a Bear Your Soul tradition with drums, celebration, and the option to choose a nickname that feels meaningful to you
  • An Outdoor Festival with live music, games, refreshments, and the famous slippy slide
  • Additional workshops on topics such as communication, massage exchanges, music, and more from the presenters
  • Sauna, hot tub, hiking trails, great food, and beautiful surroundings
